TEAM NYY IS THROUGH TO THE DIRECTOR'S CUP SEMI-FINALS !!

So damn happy today ! With 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss... Our team was tied at 2nd place with Jerven's team. Same points, same goal difference. What to do ? It was to be decided by a PENALTY SHOOTOUT ! Our team was to kick first and YongYi didn't disappoint. Kevin saved a really spectacular shot and the score was 1-0 when it comes down to me, the last taker. Can you feel the pressure mounting as the crowd shouted and cheered you on ?! BUT I SCORED THE WINNING GOAL ! The crowd went wild and we were over the moon lah !! RAWR ! Really proud of Team NYY and lets do our very best for the Semi-Finals next tuesday ! (:

There are 4 games in total:
1) Basketball (5 people per team, 2 reserves(optional))
2) Street Soccer (5 people per team, 2 reserves(optional))
3) Captain's Ball (7 people per team, max of 2 guys allowed in each team. Reserves *optional*)

Went for my SIP interview at outram. The interview went rather smoothly and i felt it was more of a conversation cos we were laughing throughout the interview. It was pouring when i came out and i was completely drenched when i finally board the cab. Headed back to TP to play for Team IITSC at a Street Soccer tournament. We emerged CHAMPIONS ! Super duper happy lah !

13 October 2009

Went back for my 2nd round of interview and i rejected them. Reason being, i was supposed to work in an environment surrounded by Cancer and AIDS patients. I really didn't feel comfortable knowing that i had to work in such an environment for the next 3-4 months. Headed back to TP after my interview to represent Team IITSC at a Captainball tournament. 2nd place was the eventual result and we were all proud of the effort put in. 3 cheers for IITSC ! (:

Attended Cheryl's grandfather wake. Hope he will rest in peace and i extend my utmost condolences to Cheryl and her family.

Its like 4am now but i seriously want to blog about my day ! First of all, im SAD that i didn't manage to go the Flea Market which was the last day !

5pm, met Kok Peng and Wee Yen at Bugis as we were going to work at Park Royal Hotel at a wedding dinner. KP was really nice to intro us while he himself didn't work. WY and I had totally no experience at banquet but thanks to Jesslyn and the other girl which i forgot her name, we managed to learn alot and handle the guests. However, working at a banquet is seriously no joke ! Supposedly, our shift ends at 11pm but WY and I GEI KIANG, volunteer to work OT till 2am. The pay is shit too. That was my BIGGEST REGRET OF MY LIFE ! This is the first time my right hand was so tired that i could not even answer my phone and hold it up. -.-" Just imagine... At least still can cab home FOC...(:

PS: I really enjoyed the experience of bringing out the cold dish by marching in with the rest of the waiters and waitresses. IT WAS SO FUCKING COOL !

Celebrated Guan Yi's birthday today, together with some 407'09 friends. Went to this place called Crab Party at Serangoon and spent almost 300 bucks on our dinner with just 9 of us. Headed to Vivo next to watch The Ugly Truth. Rather nice movie and there were certain parts which really made us laugh. Wanted to go to Harris Bar at Novena Square but the security guard there told us it was most probably closed since it was already 1am when we reached. We then decided to check out Liquid Kitchen at Thompson but found out that they were closing at 2am so we settled at this place called 'Tong Sui'(chinese means tang sui aka sweet water. LOL !) Chilled there till 2plus ? before daryl drove 7 of us home. Poor nicholas and aaron had to cab home.

Hangover sucks ! Got a splitting headache when i woke up today. Went to celebrate Terrance 21st birthday at NSRCC last night. It was fucking cool i swear, he hired a DJ and converted the place with a dance floor...LIKE A CLUB ! Alot of them was dead-drunk by 1am but it sure was one hell of a night !

Caught The Hangover at Cineleisure after school with shauna, germaine and many many design school students. Damn hilarious lah ! I seriously recommend you guys to watch it if you want to have a good laugh. (:

Soccer with haoguang, marcus, andee and alvin opposite Deyi Sec this afternoon. Being back at that court brings back memories of our secondary school days and while sitting there reminiscing about those fun and hilarious days, i can't help but wonder if we would still be like this 10 years down the road. If only guanghao was there with us, it could have been a complete reunion of our soccer team, FLOODGATES FC. 4hours of soccer and we only lost 1 match. Still 'Kings-of-the-court' eh ? =p

Cousin introduced me to work at an Apple booth in Lasalle today. I must say its one of the easiest job for me. Whole day just have to get people to fill up the lucky draw forms and see if they want to compete to beat the high score for Guitar Hero to win an IPod Nano. I can also go make my own candyfloss and take a little tour around the artistic school. HAHA ! Met Wing Yi who just registered as a student in Lasalle.

Our team consist of players from Applied Science - Shauna, Germaine and Brian, Design - JFat, Terry, Wilson and Zheng Yan AND ME ! Damn rojak thus we call ourselves Team Rojak ! LOL

Won this 'Aviators' team 3-2. They were damn sporty and great playing BUT we had TERRY ! He really is the man-of-the-match sia, blocked so many shots. So, now we are through to the next round next week... CAN'T WAIT !

Went Bugis street with shauna, germaine and alicia after school today to shop for cheekwun present. Got her a pretty classy bag after spending i-wonder-how-long browsing through the stuffs there. Next we had to find our way to a steamboat place to meet the rest. Food was not bad and GERMAINE CAN REALLY EAT ! LOL.=p Cabbed home with monica and alicia.

Woke up damn early today.. 8.30am ! Considering the fact that it is Saturday, i could jollywell sleep till 11 plus 12 lah ! But, SOCCER is more important. Haha.went back to TP and meet the Underdogs Football Club(UDFC) guys for soccer. I took bus 25 and fell asleep all the way to Bedok Interchange ! -.-" Had a short 30mins match against another team, The Red Patriots(TRP) if im not wrong ? Lunch at KFC and headed home cos it was fucking hot today !

Went Minds Cafe at Prinsep Street with Tengyong, Huimin and Eunice today. Its been like 1 year plus since i last saw them ? Bumped into Alicia at PS and LOL at what she failed to do.=x Went back to Paragon Metro with them. Unfortunately, most of the staffs we knew had already gone off or no longer working there. BUT ! We saw KJ and had a nice talk with her. Went off after that.

Caught Transformers with Audrey at Iluma today. Fantastic movie with nice company.(:

Celebrated Michelle's 18th birthday at her house today. Met Ivy and her at Compass Point to collect her cake from FourLeaves and bought ice before heading back to her house. Her youngest sister was as naughty as ever ! =x Guess what we had for dinner ??? LAKSA STEAMBOAT AND TEPPANYAKI !! How cool is that ??!!@? There was even bacon !! First time eating laksa and i must say... IT WAS DELICIOUS ! Michelle's parents were great hosts and even though i lost money to her mum at mahjong, it was still fun ! LOL. Cut cake, sang birthday songs in dont know how many languages then cabbed home with ivy.

Went Ngee Ann Polytechnic to meet Stephanie aka daughter* today. Ate at a nearby MacDonald then went back to her school as she wanted to play basketball ! Shocking... Left arnd 9pm and went back to AMK central for dinner. My chai dao kway store was closed !! Bo bian spent 5 bucks on Kway chap instead. -.-

Alicia and I were late today ! We meet at Amk station first and then headed down to Fareast to meet Shauna and Zhenhao. Bumped into Alycia on the train. Its been awhile since i last saw her. Had our lunch at some Japanese store at the basement of Takashimaya. Shopped at Wisma and i bought 2 tshirts and 1 pair of shorts from FleshImp. Alicia got herself a top and 1 jacket too. BTW ! I got Fleshimp membership card ! Wooohooo. Anyone wants to borrow can ask me for it.(: Went to Cineleisure as we wanted to try out Guitar Heroes but there wasn't any available rooms and we ended up slacking on the sofa at E2Max. Played Truth or Dare but infact it was actually all truths as we were all lazy to move. The content was really 'interesting' ! HAHA. Innocent Me and Alicia had a very enriching lesson. Dinner at Pasta Mania.

Thursday 11th June

Started my first day of work at IT fair. I was working for Notebook.com selling LG laptops.(Damn difficult to sell) Meet Shauna, Germaine and Cheekwun at Cityhall station before heading down to Suntec. There were many people working there too ! People including... NG ZHI KIAT, junliang, rina, dawn, jolene, jane, zhen hao, mason. This simply shows how small Singapore is. Sales was bad, i could not sell a single laptop ! Damn demoralising for the first day.

Friday 12th June

Went back to school for SWEN Final Presentation. I think we flunked it once again. -.- speechless...

Slacked with michelle at the 'Apple lab' and we took some pictures.(:

Cabbed to E-Hub with Mario, Michelle and Val in 1 cab. Jolene, Ivy, Nick and Coburn in the other one. We watched Drag me to Hell !!! It was rather hilarious and at times shocking. Surin and Jolene was like laughing throughout the show lahh ! And it doesn't end there, they even imitate the actress in the show ! Dinner at BurgerKing and mario, nick and I had this really interesting talk.hahaha. Only the 3 of us will know the details ! =p Cabbed home cos i got no more bus or train to take. Alicia, Monica and Audrey came to find us today. I finally get to sell 2 laptops ! Woohoo. Ended quite late and the 3 of them plus Shauna, Germaine and Zhenhao waited for me before we all bus-ed home together. Bus ride home was full of laughter and it was fun ! (:

Sunday 14 June

Last day of IT Fair ! Sold 4 laptops sia. Feeling a sense of accomplishment even though i belong to one of the bottom sales. =x Alicia and Monica came again ! Without Audrey this time. ): Had to help with the closing of booth and my stupid incharge don't want to let us off till arnd 12am ! Literally chiong out of Suntec to go meet the others who were so nice to be waiting for me from 9 plus till 12.(: They got stopped by police and had their names and address taken down. It was nothing actually. Cabbed home with alicia and germaine after that.
